Thats just how it is they are a pain sometimes. dont grind the holes bigger. Just tweak them where you need them if you have to. I got the 3rd member set on the studs and had to beat it on with a rubber mallet and push and finally went on. This is the normal procedure I used on the 9 inchs I have installed. it will go on.

yeah like they said,just get the studs as close as you can,and then tap it down.I had to pull mine apart last week,i taped a razor blade between the 3rd member and housing,then taped in a metal putty knife,then used the thin pry bar and worked it back off.Got it off in about 20 mins while it was still in the car,its really not to bad.

Jason or Eric - have a quick question on my MWC. On the spring perches, what is the inner diameter of the hole? My 2 job work schedule is crazy this week and I don't have any time to jack up car, remove wheel and spring, and measure it. I am trying to get a custom coilover setup.
