Question for fab nine experts. I saw a post on this earlier, but not sure it was answered.
The helm joints on the tq arm have me puzzled. In order to bolt it up I had to unscrew both joints almost all the way out. You can see in one of the pictures how far it's out. Any ideas on if this is the right direction?
And by the way, the setup is coming together. I'm so excited. That red rear looks so awesome with the black tq arm.

Quick question guys. Is this the correct order and facing for pressing on the bearings? I know I need the backing plate on there first, I'm just wanting to make sure about the order and that I have the actual bearing facing the right way.

Also, I'm running a spool, so is it ok to run synthetic gear oil?

bearing order is correct. make sure to put the left side backing plate on the short axle with e-brake shoe facing the flange. right side on the long axle, brakes the same.
your tag on the center section says "use 80/90w NON synthetic gear oil" for a reason. Synthetic oils are not reccomended during the first 500 miles on a street rearend. After 500 miles if you want to use the synthetic feel free.
