Question for fab nine experts. I saw a post on this earlier, but not sure it was answered.
The helm joints on the tq arm have me puzzled. In order to bolt it up I had to unscrew both joints almost all the way out. You can see in one of the pictures how far it's out. Any ideas on if this is the right direction?
And by the way, the setup is coming together. I'm so excited. That red rear looks so awesome with the black tq arm.

Finally got it up in there, but ran into a problem. Has anyone had a problem with the coil over springs hitting the brake line and bracket? Here is a picture of the rear and the brake line.

Here is what I'm concerned about.

Quick question guys. Is this the correct order and facing for pressing on the bearings? I know I need the backing plate on there first, I'm just wanting to make sure about the order and that I have the actual bearing facing the right way.

Also, I'm running a spool, so is it ok to run synthetic gear oil?

bearing order is correct. make sure to put the left side backing plate on the short axle with e-brake shoe facing the flange. right side on the long axle, brakes the same.

your tag on the center section says "use 80/90w NON synthetic gear oil" for a reason. Synthetic oils are not reccomended during the first 500 miles on a street rearend. After 500 miles if you want to use the synthetic feel free.

Somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong. I can't get the shock to fit. The mounts aren't wide enough to fit the bolt or the shock.

Sometimes that powdercoating can be a issue because of the thickness.

Spoke with Eric. Strange sent me shocks with bushings instead of bearings. He sent me the right parts out today.

instead of calling and bugging them at the shop... for those of you who had them assemble the rear, how much extra did the freight cost? Not the cost of assembly

Wasn't any extra, its built into the cost of the extra assemble charge.

This is correct....no extra freight costs, it is included in the assembly charge. When ordering a complete rear, unless noted, any options you add from the price list will not add extra freight costs.

Ok guys, I know this has been mentioned in the 70 plus pages, but has any of you reused you emergency brake cable brackets off you 10 bolt? If you did, any pics? I know, that's pushing it now.

No.. I didn't reuse those brackets.. I just let the cables hang over the backbrace. They are pretty sturdy though.
