Any modification required to make 9" fit?
Any heads up or advice will be appreciated.
you will have to swap the backing plates out, but its no big deal. the caliper mounts are in fact what hold the axles in.
the only thing I had to do was fasten the brake lines to the new axle. i used zip straps... cake...
Once I had one shorter one made I haven't had a problem since

That's the first I've heard of this? Is this a normal issue or are you an exception?
Also...is there a difference between a true Ford 9" and the Moser 9"??
but once you get it and go to install the DS...just measure the yoke clearance (how far from bottoming in the tranny)
my OEM driveshaft required me to pull the caps off the u-joint to get it in the yoke (then reinstall the caps). That is unacceptable. My correct driveshaft can be inserted in the tranny then pulled back into the yoke without any problems.
