http://www.f-body.org/gears/ Plug in your stuff in here it will tell you exactly. You should be around 2150-2200 rpm @ 65 mph with 3.73's.

You will be right about 2200 RPM with 3.73's in an A4 car. Which is only about 300 RPM over the 1900 that it runs with 3.23's

Get the gears, you won't really regret out all, the car feels some much stronger with the 3.73s, gas mileage might go down a bit, but you will love it.

I love that link!

Now mind you, if a car has a converter, it may have some slip but being it should be stock, there should be no addition RPMs even though stock tachs cant read worth a damn.

That's all I bought with the exception of new gear oil, and posi additive (wasnt needed but I got it anyway). $355 for everything including installation. Not bad for half a second drop.

All M6 F-Bodys have 3.42's from the factory so you have a 3 series carrier

Automatic Fbodys without the GU5(3.23) option come with 2.73's, they make for excellent gas mileage but shitty ET's

Rob @ Strictly does gears, install kit, fluid, installation, and computer adjustments for $550-575
