Numbers with TCI CS4200
I got a 1.58 60 on the TCI 4200 this past weekend at the SLP CAD. The track was ok, I just didn't want to mess with the tires, once I got into eliminations. It will do better than this. Once I got a 1.60 60, which matched a previous best on the Yank PT4500, I left the tires alone, and went for consistant 60's. I got this till the championship round for King Of The Track, when it cut a 1.580 60' on a considerably cooled down track.
It will do a 1.55 or better IMO, since any track is not typically flooded with nearly as many pure street tire cars.
I ended up winning Slick Tire Class at the event.
I also got runner up for King Of The Track.
FYI: This was my first time down the 1320 with this verter, and I absolutely love it.
Great package TCI.

Congrats on the win. BTW, I was the guy that asked you about the width of your rear wheels.

Ahhh yes. I remember you man. How did you do?
I met quite a few people as eliminations got underway.

Great results from the converter! It was good to see you in the staging lanes. How about those lines? I was trying out a completely new setup, and I only got one pass on the new setup. I am now running a TCI 3800 with my 200-4R conversion, and I managed a spinning 1.55 60' time. Unfortunately, I had to get out of it because my tires were not balanced. The weights on the inside of the wheels were rubbing the calipers, and the shudder past the 1/8-mile was HORRIBLE! I'm going to do some work on the car this week and see if she'll push into the low-to-mid 10's on a TNT 100 shot at our crappy local track that sits at 3,300' altitude.
Great results from the converter! These TCI 'verters are really shining!

Trevor

Thanks Tervor. Yeah the wait in the lines was horrific. I actually got some a few times. I think I waited for just over 2 hrs to get my first pass, but the eliminations picked up quite a bit.
I was very pleased with the TCI all day. We will see how they are for longevity and wear, but right now, and based on the number of folks truely getting these kind of results, I think they have the hot setup. Not to mention the price. Also, they have proven their customer service is there to me and you.
I am anxious to see your number N/A with the new combo. Also, the 200 4R is interesting. I see some of the faster guy's running it, but for some reason didn't think they would be as strong as a TH350-400.
Let us know the numbers...we're watching
Good Luck,

Nice times. What were your shift extensions?

My shift extension is:
5200 1-2 6200 shift point from 1-2
5400 2-3 6400 shift point from 2-3
The Yank PT4500 was 5600 both shifts, with the factory shift point which on my car would do 6100.
Hope this helps,
Kurt

On the 1.58 60, I let off since I went red, and didn't get a better number than the 11.79.

I didn't have it in me to wait any longer after making my one pass. And I was pretty pleased after seeing everyone else struggling some. Humidity was at 80% on my run! I'd rather have 70 degrees with 30% humidity than the other way around...
7.40 @ 91.3 and 11.70 @ 114.33 here, with a 1.59 60'. I believe it would have gone low into the .60s or high .50s.

I got alot of people that thought I was Trevor..I'll take that as a compliment.
I wish you would have stuck around also. We would have been a good race.
I saw your only pass, and it carried the left front pretty far. Your car looked sweet leaving.
Congrats on the times. My car never runs it's best on a single pass, it likes the hot lap. In fact, tonight on a slight prep track, I got a 1.60 and a new best by a hundredth. 11.780.
I haven't seen the video of my run yet, but others have said it pulled the wheel. It's weird how sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't - even on better 60s...
You gonna make the Shootout?
