Default How many 9" guys have the backbrace?

Just seeing what you with experience say here. Any differences besides maybe a couple lbs? Im just trying to gather the options I want on my rear. Cam only right now, but will have heads and possibly a 150 shot later on...but wont spray out of the hole so I dont think I need the brace. Open for discussion...

I would have to say that the extra few pounds and few dollars for it would be well worth it. If your looking at chromoly housing like from Midwest Chassis, the back brace is only 7lbs.

do it right the first time... if there is any possibility of future upgrades. the backbrace cannot be added later. you would be better off to build a new housing.

The back brace is a good idea if you plan on your car being a 9 second car or faster. With the easily available and escalating horsepower that can be had these days, it certainly is a good idea. Bob
