Who is telling you this?? This is a first to my ears.. No problems for me..

Check out ebay or in the parts classified section here. You should have no issues with the aluminum.

Strange 3 inch chromemoly. can't tell you how many i have sold to members here and with my 9 inch setups. it is by far the best bang for the buck. if you don't mind a few extra bucks, the PST aluminum is a good shaft as well. the Strange 3 inch chromemoly is 315.00 shipped from me.

PST 3.5" Aluminum driveshaft here from Exotic Performance Plus. Good service and a good product. I'll let you know how well it handles the non-radial Mickey Thompsons tomorrow, but I'm not too worried considering I'm only pushing 400 to the wheels.

Nice value IMO. I'll be calling you when I figure out what length I need. Err can they be ordered in custom lengths? Actually, I'm not sure that it needs to be custom, it'll be going on an fbody with a 9" rear and eventually it will also have a 4L80 or 4L85.

If you are going to use a ds loop a 3.5" shaft will decrease clearance. Although it would work. Id go with chromoly or steel. I just purchased a nitrous ready shaft.

I'd say chromoly or steel. Dennys is a company i'd trust for sure. I remember reading that aluminum is for beer cans, not driveshafts. It was a sticky callad "wanna be fast"

We haven't had a problem with clearance, it is only .25 more on each side. Bob
