Default Clearancing for a Moser 9"

I am running a stock torque arm. After centering up the rear end with the adjustable panhard bar, I could see clearance problems at the side of the torque arm. I took a bar and pressed the floor pan out of the way on the one side. I am still getting a bottoming when I hit a bump. Car is lowered with proline springs. Is this normal for this install? Thanks

Talking

Hello, yes this is normal when using a 9" because of the width of the center chunk the bracket is not in the same spot as it is on a factory rear. You can massage the floor pan a little. If you have any other questions please give me a call.

The upper bolt on the cast moser torque arm bracket will hit the transmission tunnel by the gas tank

Ok, I didn't see any clearance problem there but will look again. There should be some marks from my bottoming out. Thanks

ya, my car isn't lowered and the torque arm mount bolt is really close to hittin the floor pan in the tunnel. i want to lower my car so i guess im just gonna have to push my floor up too. oh well, then it will match my other side pan where my driveshaft broke and pushed the floor up...that sucked

Gently? I took a BFH and beat the hell out of mine to get it to stop hitting. I'm lowered on Strano's.
