Best fluid for stock torsen?
Which fluid/additives will cause the limited slip to work the best with a stock torsen? I have a 00 Z28 M6, just got it, bone stock right now (41k miles). The limited slip works perfect in all conditions (straight ahead, dead stop starts, left handers, any slow turn with clutch drop into donuts) but right hand corners followed by smooth power application are giving me a little trouble. It will spin the inside right by itself a little bit, but I can tell it's still trying to push the planted outside left, just not hard enough to break it loose immediately. I've done my research and found no threads dealing with this specific subject. thanks for all inputs in advance.

I guess I didn't state the question well enough. is there any brand/weight that people have used (with clearly positive results, going from a one wheel wonder back to two black strips at all times) that improved the performance/effectiveness of the stock torsen?

Some people have gone to a thicker (85W-140, or 75W-140) gear oil, whether synthetic or mineral based.
I'm not sure if this helped any 'one wheel peel' situations or not, but it does seem to help them last longer and NOT as quickly as using the thinner stuff.

yea a torson is not a limited slip it is a torson! that carrior is either locked or unlocked! so u cant say its slipping. anyways i have a torson also and found the royal purple 75-90 differensial gear oil to be great! it is full synthetic and has the friction modifier in it to keep the gears quieter

well, I changed up the fluid and replaced the gasket, using Black Permatex, today. I went with Mobil 1 75w-90 fully synthetic with the limited slip additives. I'll report back how that stuff works for me, I'm letting the sealant dry now. it was about an hour job, but I work slow.

not really any improvement in engagement, but you really have to try hard to just get that one to go. it was worth the experience and knowledge that my new car has good fluids in the rear-end though. might be looking for a new posi unit down the road if it gets any worse.
