Sorry to hear thet Bob. I'm currently waiting on a new card. I had to cancel an account because of some ridiculous purchases being made online. Luckily, all of them were blocked by the card company. Still a PITA. It was kind of ironic though. It happened right after I made that remark about the stolen credit card going through on my purchase. Why can't people just work for their money like the rest of us. Anyway, I'll see you next week Bob, Rob.

Wow, that really sucks. I wasn't aware that the laws were like that. It must be in your contract with mastercard/visa or whomever the company is.

It's that way for everyone, the merchant always gets screwed. One of these two got hit by Yank as well. The other one got two sponsors on here.
Another sponsor got hit by the guy in Canada. Bob

He's in MD. If I find him I'll knock his *** out with a crowbar.

Btw, I might be able to help out soon, I'll be buying a 9" early next year, definitely from EPP... with my own money.

I really hate thieves.

Bob,

My buddy Don (NWDragRacer) discovered the phone number in BC comes back to a Wesely Yam....might not mean anything but it could be worth looking into.

Thanks Mark, that is strange, when I use to call 604-618-2091 the voice mail would say, "this is Gary, please leave a message." In fact, we had to call him back when we were ready to ship the rear for him to pay for an additional shipping charge since it was shipping up to Canada. Naturally, he used another stolen credit card for the shipping charge... The guy at Scoggin-Dickey that talked to him, (who also got ripped off) said he sounded like a heck of a nice guy. I tried the number this morning and it now appears to be disconnected. Imagine that... I'll have Diane look into Wesely Yam. Thanks again. Bob

This is unreal. Well I believe it happens but like most things you never think it'llhappen to people that you know of. I had my CC stolen last christmas and Ihad to sign a waiver saying that the funds weren't spent by me and the CC company PAID the amount stolen. Maybe its different in canada, or they didn't explain it well to me at the time.

Either way I hope that you catch these guys
