From my understanding they hit the rev limiter and lifted in 4th gear. That's why the mph was 108. The 117 was with a tune so they didn't hit the rev limiter.

FWIW, They just picked up 32rwhp from a set of longtubes and x-pipe. Stock mufflers.

Well that about settles it. I just called my local ford dealer and I'm going in to trade my SS in on a '11 GT. I just don't know what's wrong with my car though, it ran better times than in Super Chevy. Oh well it's the ford dealer's problem now. Suckers

This is ridiculous. Do you ever read the **** you post on this site? They tested an L99 auto Camaro. Go find me an LS3 or an auto 5.0 to make a real comparison. Better yet, find me a real owner to run those times. All you talk about is the Evolution car. If it's so easy to run those times then show me a car not tested by a ford based performance shop.

So the private owner of the Camaro did his own mod work? Owner times will come. There isn't even an after market for these engines yet. Wait to you start seeing the ported heads the CAI the cams etc. Better times for private owners are ahead. Remember that Camaro had heads and Cams. It just ran 10.96 with a procharger added presumably by as shop . The Evo car went 10.97 NA with lightening and stock heads stock cam and drop in filter.

No seriously do you not think the folks at Super Chevy weren't trying to make the car go fast with Cams, HEADS, exhaust, headers, DRs, CAI, and tune? Or maybe they are just ******* idiots in your humble opinion.

Honestly I'm not sure why you are crying foul. I posted published results from a noted source for the Camaro for a Heads, Cam, Header, Exhaust, CAI, Drs LS3 2010 Camaro and you aren't satisfied. Evos car is the best I can give you at the moment because there are so few out and almost no mod market out. Heck there aren't even tuner out for them. I'm not sure how Jon Lund tuned the thing. JPC got their 2011 to 10.96 with a stock tune and a 100 shot with stock cats.

So then FOG is full of it, claiming the car picked up 9 mph from swapping out the tires, as the car was actually tuned, right? I hope that doesn't come off as a personal attack, I guess you could say it was just his version of the truth.
