All seems well, I have tons of pictures from the guy and his ebay feedback is 100% so i have no reason to doubt him. Either way, if I get there and its not everything I want it to be I just walk away.

Nope no catch. I'm just about done with the deal, getting on a plane here in San Diego Wednesday morning to head back to Chicago. I'm giving a nearly new car with mods for a 3 year old Corvette with mods, plus giving some cash... I just want to make sure I'm not getting screwed.

I can't give you a bias opinion as I've never driven a newer Camaro. However, I had an LS2 C6 and loved it. That car looks super clean. I think you'll be happy with the trade.

I really do like my car, however the lack of back seat room often makes me wonder why I didn't go for the C6 in the first place. I guess I just had such a hard on for the new Camaro and was itching to mod an LS3 I just pulled the trigger. It's definitely a nice car, just didn't fill the void I was hoping it would.
And he's definitely honoring my trade, hell he's got it sold already and the guy wants the car this weekend! So I'm heading down either Thursday evening for an early morning Friday deal, or Friday morning and coming back in the afternoon.

Man, I've been wrestling with this same decision. I really like the new SS and want one bad, but I just came from a bolt on C5 with a 150 shot and I'm afraid that I would need 600 FWHP in the Camaro, just to be as fast as my 'vette was. The only reason I'm even considering the Camaro is because I have 2 little ones now and would like to be able to take everyone out in it once in a while. Reading your thread makes me think I should just go for the 'vette and keep the kids in the DD.
Anyway, I think you're making the right choice and will be happy as **** with the 'vette!

So all this time I've been buying used condoms was a bad idea?!?!? Damn... But like I said, it's a fully documented mint condition car. If I get there and see one thing I don't like, I'll call the deal off. Otherwise, Friday afternoon I will be her home.

Just remember we tend to abuse our cars. That car looks awesome and I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I just hope you won't see some major problem down the road... Like an axle snapping or some engine failure.... I'm assuming there's no warranty so yeah...

Yeah I hear what you're saying. But it has a warranty on the work that's been done as well as a GM extended warranty on everything else. I bought my SS new and modded it, but I haven't ever REALLY beat on it, I mean we all drive spiritedly, but if we didn't want that we'd be driving Honda's or something along those lines.
