Haha, good call. Sig is upgraded now and yes, it is quite the beast even compared to the SS which made close to the same flywheel power.

I would say yes if it was not black. You will dive yourself insane watching the paint get torn up over the years after spending that kind of money. And while you could just repaint down the road it will never be the same as when you first got it. So either don't get it or look for a bit longer for an equally bad *** combo in a different color.

Yeah I'm aware of the black paint curse.... I love the look but hate to clean it. I've gotten pretty good at it over the years tho. And I worked out a deal at the same time as I bought the Corvette, my SS got picked up by a transport company the day after I got back from getting the new car.

Congrats welcome to the club that thing has to run like a raped ape. Where in Chicago are ya round about am going back here in a few weeks to visit family. There are a lot of fast Vettes back home though. When are ya going to take her to the track and get some numbers.

I'm near Mendota, La Salle, Peru... about an hour or so west and a little south of Chicago. I'd love to get to a track some time but unfortunately I'm traveling for business almost all of the time... When my little girl gets a bit older maybe I'll go but for now I just focus on her during my time at home.
