Tuning for meth kit...alky control
So if a tune is spot on and fuel supply is solid at the current tune....it seems adding a progressive meth kit like alky control on a single nozzle and targeting afr to drop a full point due to addition of methanol, the tune would have enough fuel pulled out of it to be able to add timing and not add boost and still pick up 20-30hp due to fuel, cooler charge, and consistency regardless to time of year at the track. Or add another 2psi and double that whp gain. Is my thinking clear? Is my post clear? Lol
If a mod thinks this needs to be moved down to the 5th gen tuning section, that's fine by me, sorry.

On my gn it was easier. Tune to as much boost on pump gas as u can without any knock (17psi). Add chip, which took out roughly 15% of the fuel mapping progressively and added 5 deg of timing...then add boost as long as you didn't see knock (28 psi). Number one, that was a much lower compression motor, number two, chip swaps were easy peasy.

You could always try posting it in the Forced induction section.

I know what you mean about sacrificing cars for family. Been there and done that. Thankfully my kids are all grown and out on their own now.

That's because there is no clear question to answer.
Tuning with meth is exactly the same as tuning without
Safe timing to start, optimise fueling, then dial in the timing until best power/torque is achieved or knock prevents you getting that far.
