The accomplishment either way is great and I give you props, but it just doesn't add up off the info posted.
the air and humidity were alot better that night!

Last week it ran two passes at 114 mph but they were not the fastest ET. This car has always been inconsistant on MPH but consistant on ET. The weather was the same this week just shifted the car early compared to all of the previous runs and the 60 ft dropped from a 1.70 to a 1.67. Changed from a standard 4 inch airfilter to a Velocity stack with a 6 inch airfilter. Not sure how much power it was worth but the car leaned out a full point from 12.6 to 13.6.

Very cool, wouldn't it be cool if you could swap in some 4.10 - 4.30's...

The rear tires are worth a solid .2 going from a 28.7 to a 25.7. This heavy car needs all the help it can get.
I think it can go a 12.0 all motor with the stock wheels and tires on it now.

cool.. as I said it a great accomplishment anyway you look at it. I can see the better air and changes helping it get where it's at now.

I'm glad you are working hard at the record.

congrats again

The past 10 weeks in a row we have been to the track the weather has been consistantly in the 2800 ft DA range. Not ideal at all for racing. Its hard to shift fast with sweaty hands.

The motor is bone stock......bolts do not change the motor. So the motor is 100% untouched=bone stock motor.

still, no one refers to a car as 'bone stock' when it has intake and exhaust. what you have is a 'bolt on' car. if you have got into the engine, you then enter the 'cam only' or 'heads/cam', etc. categories..

Since the motor is untouched from the factory I'll call it a bone stock motor. It is what it is, when I put the cam in next week then we can call it a "Cam only" motor.

For now, its a bone stock motor. Just the way GM built it.

I said the motor was bone stock, not the car. Just to clear up any confusion from the first post. It does say motor, not car.
