But still it's a 468 vs a 377.........apples to oranges in my o2. I made a 100 less rwhp then him assuming his made 800 to the wheels. I'd figure that car should run that number on motor.

What kind of power did the 468 make on motor? If he's got a direct port 300, its making the 300 to the wheels. So its making roughly 500 on motor? That just doesnt sound right for that much ci, am I right or wrong. I know its an auto but still, I'd bet that car is making closer to 950 to the wheels on spray.

I bet if Owen refines the combo, like he did his 4th gen Formula it will go quicker too. He eventually went 8's with the Formula but it started out running low 10's when I saw it.

Awesome foundation, but it definately needs the bugs worked out. Are you sure the nitrous was working on that pass?

not being negative, but I do feel the car should be much faster with the mentioned combo

I'm sure he will get the bugs sorted out and go faster.

Owen was fighting his built A6 trans at the Memphis shootout but did click off his first 10 second pass in the car. I'm guessing his car will do some interesting things in the next couple of months.

I'm sure there will be alot of fast cars making faster passes. The memphis shootout had cold temps and negative DA.

Not taking any credit away from his car, this is the time of year the southern guys get to start running faster. Not to mention he's running below sea level.

There are two bigger CI car's with auto's and alot more power, both are capable of going faster and will in time, I think there will be a 9 second pass made next weekend. Its going to be a stock ci motor with a 6 speed manual. It's with in a 100 rwhp of both........and it's been 138 mph on a 26x8 radial.

Mike, I like you, cuz you are cute n'all, but that's not a 5th gen example. How about going forward if someone has something negative to say, you start off by saying "My 2010 Camaro is running 10.xx and I think that..."

Hey Owen, are you taking it easy so you don't break the rearend again?

John we are taking it easy on the rear end and tires right now trying to figure out what the car can take power out of the gate. The car weighs 4280, independent rear etc. its not a solid axle fbody with slicks. Its funny why is mine the second fastest, and the fastest auto if its such a turd. Lets see some fast times people. We will be at the track weather permitting this weekend trying to better our times.

Work on that tranny tune and it will be in the 9's for sure. Sounds like a pretty big delay on the 1-2 shift.
