HAHAHA

$1000 shorty headers
$850 mufflers
$350 short shifter
$450 intake box
$700-830 PER rim (700x4=2800 & 830x4=3320)
$2000 body kit
$400 wing

Is it just me that finds these prices to be simply OUT-*******-RAGEOUS? The wing and body kit are the only things that seems somewhat reasonable given the market price on high quality body kits/pieces.

Welcome to the hobby of hotrodding modern V8's. Nothing's cheap on these new cars. Hell, I couldn't even find simple suspension parts without spending a couple hundred bucks.

EDIT: 1000 smackeroos for shorties???.................OUCH.

Funny the LS3 motor and the LS7 cost exactly the same: $17,495. Who is going to pick a LS3 over a LS7 for the same price?

Interesting about the LS3 and LS7 costing the same. As far as dropping an LS7 in, not sure why everyone thinks that's so awesome. If they come out with an LS7 Camaro from the factory, fine, but swapping an LS3 out for an LS7 would be pretty dumb. Spend that money just for 100 horsepower. It's more about bragging rights I guess. Because dropping 18k on an LS3 car would be pretty wicked and you'd be making a hell of alot more than 500hp.

I agree. All that money just to pick up a couple HP and sound better? I'll spend a bit more and get a nice HP gain along with the nicer sound.

Definitely agree. You could do so much more with the LS3 than you can with the LS7......especially for the money you'll spend putting the 7 liter monster in there. It's like you said, just alot of ppl that want the bragging rights......."Yeaa......my car's got a 427 in it "

I'm really starting to like the looks of the new camaro. Just like the 4th gens, they just need a few apearence things to really make them stand out.

If you are refering to the dale Jr deal, I was wondering that myself. Is it just the tube grille insert or is it the different outline as well (which changes the way the blinkers are seen and, IMO, looks much better). I'd like to see more details regarding that piece.

If those prices include installation, that ain't that bad. I can't wait for them to start hitting the showroom floors.

Look at good pics of the front end of the Dale JR car, it has the grille. It looks good.

As for those prices, realize that GM list prices are higher that you ever pay from SDPC! I don't have our pricing for you guys yet, but when the time comes and these are available I don't think you will be disappointed.

https://store.gmperformanceparts.com...!--19171224--> <- the ECU and wire harness is only $800

Maybe it was a typo?
