I think they do a decent job of weighing the cons against the pros.

And I agree, if you get one, it has to be the six-speed. That's where it's really at.

Both tranny options are a 6spd in this car, also I thought the A6 was hardly any slower then the M6? Have yet to see a real test with an A6...plus with the less HP its only common sense that it would be slower for sure, tune out the active fuel management and you have the same motor as the M6 car.

How is the auto faster when the M6 traps quite a bit higher?

The gearing on the auto is higher then the manual to make up for the hp difference.

The auto is only faster 0-60 (4.6 vs 4.7), the M6 has it by about 0.3 seconds and 4-5 mph by the 1/4 mile.

I think the author did a pretty good job on the Camaro. He dismissed the A6 to quickly, especially considering it sounds like he NEVER drove one. Yes the back seat in the Camaro is standard early Camaro fair.......it is really a two seater with a place to put your coats. To call the Mustang's back set a catherdal???? He has NEVER sat in the back seat of the S197 Mustang......dude a catherdal has a high roof which the Mustang lacks in spades, it is the Challenger that has a backseat (it better with what it weights).

the back seat in the 2010 Camaro is useless for sitting. I've sat in the back of one. Trust me, it's horrible.
