My salesman said white can be ordered late July early Aug.
He wants white and has been waiting for GM to unlock the color himself, said they have a freeze on it for some reason..

GM Workbench allows you to choose white. If you want white you need a compentent dealer to find it and select it. A factory insider has said he has seen about 10-15 white cars roll down the line in the past week.

Ideally I would like to do a white car with the orange stripes, similar to the older 69 pace cars and the 30th Anniv LT1 cars. Incase any wonders why I want a white car so bad. I turned 25 yesterday, next year will be 10 years I have had my Lt1 got it at 16, be cool to pick up some thing like this 10 years later for my birthday. I always been kind of a dream to go in and order a car.

IIRC, GM is allowing you to get orange rally stripes on the white from the factory. They are the short ones that only cover the hood though so if you want them on the bumper.

that white color just makes the 5th gen look soo crisp and clean! im almost considering ordering a white one as my black one may just be something ill keep mainly for show!!

White/Orange would be an excellent combo!! Also, I ordered my 1999 and recommend ordering to anyone. It's a great experience and the wait is worth it to know it's your car from the beginning!!
