Now that it's 2006, can GM officially and legally call the new "V8 Sport Coupe" that will be at the North American Auto Show a Camaro yet?

Can we see the pictures yet? Come on GM!! Even my buddy that's a diehard Chevy guy is drooling over the new Dodge Challenger pictures and wants to buy it. I'm not opposed to the idea, either!

There was a concept pic floating around just before Christmas. GM kindly asked that all images be pulled from the internet since the pic was considered stolen property. But I'm sure a few still exist out there...

I've seen it (concept pictures). It looks nice. I doubt there are any more floating around. GM seemed pretty pissed.

I saw it, and wasn't imediately impressed. I didn't hate it....but it did nothing for me.

Now the Challenger... I'm in the same boat as your buddy.

I like that Challenger, but think of all that extra weight. If we get a sub 3500 lb camaro with 400HP or a 3500 lb 400 HP camaro that thing is going to be a screamer!!! Except you have to deal with GM, that is a bummer.

I'm a ***** for anything fast and the second concept or spy pics along with any renderings or drawings hit the boards and the net, I save them to my external. I hope 1st quarter 2009 is a rumor or GM can suck a big fat one.



As to seeing the Camaro for the 1st time I will be there on Tues the 17th. Days after the 8th private showing and the 14th public showing but I want to get there before the crowd and get some PICs.

I just pray it is a 2007 model and I can get in in late 2007.

i work at chevy and my manager got an e-mail directly from GM the pictures that they sent him are pretty much the same concepts that everyone has been seeing you guys know teh red and orange one. There were a few others i havent seen before and they all look good to me
