I'd be in line! Better have some BIG plans for what is under the hood if we're going to have to wait till 08-09 to buy it. The LS2 is too old of news to be carried into this car at that time. It had better have an option for a 500 hp engine, preferably an SS!

I dont see why they dont want to make the SS significantly better than the Z28... For the extra price of the SS in the 96-02s, I dont think it was worth it. The performance gains were very minimal, which is most important to most of us. The hood is cool, and i do love the spoilers on the 98-02s, but $4k!? I dont think so! Just my .02.

For those who didnt know, there is a Malibu SS modle now. It does look alright i must say, but is underpowered to be carrying the SS nameplate, but as sycotic said, Its pretty much just an appearance package now.

They should limit how many SS's and Z28s are made. And only offer one of them a model year. Like in 2010 offer only a Z28, in 2011 offer only a SS.
That's just one way to do it.
The other is to get rid of one of the special models. Most likely itll be the Z28, my fav.
Since most of yous would never ever buy one if they got rid of SS Camaros. Tey know all the money comes from you guys as well.
Or...make the Z28 a road performer, while making the SS a strip performer.
then again, they could just get rid of both, and make a new top of the line proction model, im thinking it shoudl be called the Camaro K-Type. But hey, I'm alreayd going to buy the Camaro license form Chevy and produce the K-Type when I get it so...

How about doing like the vette. Have a Camaro and a Z28 as the premium model. The SS moniker is used on to many other models to make it mean anything. Z28 says Camaro performance, just like Z06 says it for the vette.

Where do I sign?!?!!!! LS2/ LS7 as long as is has an option for eight cylinders you really can’t go wrong when you talk GM. I would strongly urge every F-body luvin one of you to write a letter to Bob Lutz …….Please build this car!!

First time I saw a WS6 TA, the commercial for the firehawk, first LS1 SS I laid eyes on, and especially when I saw my HO Z28 the first time I was awe struck and just thinking "that thing is bad ***!".
Sorry guys, this concept just doesn't do it for me. I'm not that impressed, and I've always been a huge fbody fan, particularily the Camaro, its by far my favorite vehicle. From the side it looks good up till ahead of the front wheel, nose is a couple inches to short. I think its too blocky, like the Caddy CTS is, I'm not going to keep nitpicking, Idk its just not for me. I am debating making a trip to the show next week, just to see it up close, we'll see, maybe I'll change my mind.
