If weight goes over 3500 lbs, I'll still buy it because I like the way it looks, but I really wouldn't spend much money on mods.

Why dont they use some of that tech off the Z06 to make it lighter?

Because that would make it too expensive to be competive with the other "muscle" cars that will be on the market.

They should make all of the new RWD cars and the C6 with aluminium frame. They have made planes out of that crap for the last 80+ yrs, not to mention all of the aluminium engines GM makes. If all of the new RWD application had aluminium it would become cheaper, and thus take away some of our weight woes.
