I thought it would be fun to compile a list of colors that should be available when it is released. There needs to be at least 7 and no more than 10 colors in my opinion.
Heres my list:
Exterior
1. Black(obviously necessary)
2. Pearl White (like on the caddies)
3. Light Silver
4. Steel Gray
5.Dark forest or Jade Green
6. Orange Pearl (SOM is sweet but getting played out with a lot of copycats from other cars)
7. Navy Blue
8. The red they have been using for the concept is sweet and probably already on their proposed list
9. Like a vibrant electron blue or something similiar

Interior
I prefer cloth and something like microfiber would be cool too
Leather is always appropriate though
Black (available for all colors)
Tan and black 2 tone(colors 2,5,6,7,8 and 9)
Gray and black 2 tone(available for all colors)
Red and black 2 tone(colors 1,2,3,4,7, and 9)

I would choose Navy or Pearl white and my interior would be tan and black no matter which exterior color.

What would your list be and what would you choose for yourself?

That sounds decent, id like to see a yellow, and a plain white as well. And as much as i like the orange pearl idea, i'd like SOM or even hugger orange just as much.

I know im wanting white withe SOM rally stripes, with a black interior with orange and black houndstooth inserts and orange accent stitching. or atleast thats what im hoping for.

black

plain white for sure

hugger orange... wouldn't be right it if wasn't hugger. Please make a hugger!! with white leather please.

electron blue or something similar

red of course, bright red.

silver

dark grey no flake!!

bright yellow

navy blue no flake!!

I would like to see the return of some 1969 colors.

Lemans blue
Hugger Orange
Cortez silver
Dusk blue
Daytona yellow

Then, the standards:

Bright red
Black
White

And:

Spiral Gray Metallic

I'd also like to see red interior, or a houndstooth cloth option

If they do tan for the interior it needs to be black/tan combo, tan by it self doesnt look that great, black looks prety good, but when you combine the two it makes the interior look kinda classy. I wouldnt mind a red/black interior either, red alone looks like a ***** house, but black and red looks really good.

Here is what I think would work nicely:

1. Concept Red
2. Bright Red
3. White (Any Shade)
4. Titanium Silver
5. Light Silver
6. Onyx Black
7. Green (Anything but Teal)
8. Navy Blue

And two $ optioned colors:

1. Hugger Orange
2. Electron Blue (or something similar)

I think that would cover about all the bases as well as having some cool colors for those willing to pay a bit more for them.

I'm sure we'll see cloth and leather, houndstooth and other options would be awesome too. I just hope you can order Red and White interiors and such for a throwback feel. Would love a Red/Black/Silver SS with Red or White Leather... can't wait for GM to release some of the options we'll have.

Can't go wrong with Black on Black, or Black in General... But I actually prefer my cloth seating in my Z, the car is already insanely hot and Black Leather would only add to the discomfort. Hopefully they have some cool color choices for both exterior and interior, don't wanna just have grey or black avaliable for interior choices. Would love to see Hugger Organe, Cortez Silver etc. And I really like Electron Blue and other bright blues, also a stripe package from the factory will be cool. I love my black Z, but I've always been a Red guy so when I get the 5th Gen I will probably get a Red one with Red or White interior, Black might be an option as well.

I suppose I'm the only fan of Rally Green? A lot of the other colors mentioned would be great as well. I'd seriously consider silver, hugger orange, red, lemans blue (or a number of other great blues like electron blue), etc. Being that I don't have an available garage and my car is a DD, I've sworn off ever getting another black car, though it does look good for the hour or so it stays clean after a wash.
