NO!!! Why would we ever have paddle shifters. All we need are powerglides, solid axles, and no A/C.

GM's current paddle system should be in the new Maro, my Gay Uncle Maurice also believes this

GM has its hands full trying to make a 4 speed auto that wont blow apart in a camaro. Now they're going to add 2 gears? That should be interesting!!

The new 6 speed auto can only live in a protected enviroment. It was instanstly explode if torque management was removed. Aside from having a whale's weight.

After considerable thought and a bottle of sangria,GM should just put an A4 out of a 1 ton truck in the new camaro. Maybe everyone with more than 250 rwhp could finally quit tearing up autos!!! While theyre at it, cut down the damn 1 ton truck rear axle and put that 14 bolt SOB in!!

Sangira?? Who are you??? Ya know that refers to a royale bloodletting. Weird spanish (euro ones). Don't know how they got that from wine with fruit in it.

HEHE.

Tastes good though.

if GM's paddle shifters shifted like some of the others out there, not that i like any of those european cars, then I'd have a hard time choosing between m6 and A6. but i dont think that the A6 will shift as fast as some of those other crazy *** ones.

I'm fine with the A6 + paddles.

Tell me I can't drive, it's ok. I'm a big boy, I can take it.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Example: Honda Fit has paddle shift.

i like the idea of shiftable autos... that being said, its a bad idea for the new camaro to have one because its from GM. It will be so low in quality that it will just be annoying. I wouldnt be suprised if the pedal shifters snapped off when u pressed them. Im 100% sure GM will do what they do in every in car they produce to the camaro: make it look amazing, slap a super amazing engine in it... then flake on everything else (crappy low quality plastic interior, glass trans and rearend... ) They have yet to make a car that is perfect (fbodys are the closest). If it has enough power, it doesnt have anything else... or vice versa. Its a really simple formula if u ask me... make a car that looks amazing (im sure there are a million graphic designers out there willing to take on the task), give it ***** under the hood, and dont flake and use plastic parts. ugh i should start my own car company.

You didn't have the option in the poll " Autos are Gay". But that's what I'll go with.

I can definately see GM doing paddle shifters in the upcoming Camaro. Cool idea, I have no idea how well their system works. Probably works like *** if I were to guess...

An A6 with paddle shifters would be ok but I am definately getting mine with an M6 regardless of how well it works.

I hear complaints about lambo's paddle shift, can't wait to see what gm will do with it. And let's keep slapping on the useless tech to see if we can get it out of people's pricerange.

Paddle shifting may be an option, but it likely will be similar to Corvette's.
Which in all reality, works just fine. Screw Ferrari.
The paddle shifter for the Vettes has a little lag, what i am trying to say is when u press the paddle to switch to a higher gear it takes about 2 seconds at the most, but not always mostly a second . Id like the Camaro to have the A6 option too, and the M6 option I think i was a little

I hope they dont. Paddle shifters should only be for people who like to drive a stick but dont have a left leg . IMHO they are boring. Nothin like banging a stick through the gears

Real men drive stick, its badass, you throw your whole body into those hard shifts, slam the clutch, rip it into gear and let that clutch back up and get back on the gas.

How about a slap-stick floor shifter for the automatic? These have been around for a while and offer some sportiness. Moreover, it doesn't encroach on the Corvette's uniqueness.
