How can you have a Camaro or Firebird(still praying) without T-tops.
I hate the leaky piles of crap, but god, you cant beat the feeling of rolling with the T's off. 2nd gen, thirdgen were the worst, most 4th gens were better but still had issues. For a driver, no, for a weekend type car you bet.
91 hardtop GTA, 91 hardtop Formula, 89 TTA t-top

I think the whole retro look sucks, the new Mustangs, the Camaro concept, the Challenger concept. Sure they looked good in the 60's, but styling like that should stay in the 60's. When do you ever see the styling of a firebird, not a lot really, because it's DIFFERENT. Not trying to be a fanboy here but I think GM should go with a different route of styling, instead of that retro **** which Ford and Dodge is doing(which I know they won't), but hey there's my .02

It makes an LS1 SS Camaro look plain.
The 5th generation Camaro is a product of new technology and styling, with ideas borrowed from the originals...not a carbon copy.
Good riddance to the LS1 Camaro's, they are ugly IMO with bland interior "Cavalier" like styling and without a nice hood and shiny wheels look like crap-o-la.
Ever seen a plain, 98+ Camaro with 16" wheels?
My Concorde looks more exciting.
The 5th Gen styling is the best thing thats happened to the Camaro nameplate in a long time.

I've mostly seen pictures and videos, but I guess it COULD look alright, but that front end just makes the rest of the car look like ****. Seriously that grill or whatever needs to go, looks too much like a caddy up front, and I hope they don't make the interior ANYTHING like the interior in the concept and MOST OF ALL, don't make it overpriced like the GTO, and don't give us 245 tires either

t-tops hands down. i don't understand the "weight" argument. t-top 4th gens are about the same exact weight as a hardtop, and on top of being able to take the roof off, we get a moonroof, too.

Hardtop being lighter then anything else is a myth.
Scott said all of the cars(new camaros) start out as VERTS first. So HARDTOPS will have more metal on top but the verts will have all the hydrolics to make it go up and down
If they DID come out with a hardtop vert I would be very happy. Making the Top nice and shiney for shows would make me very happy...

either they were billionares and it was the fact that you werent driving a ferarri or it was something else other than the T-Tops, ive NEVER seen a girl dislike them.

First, of all, I love the t-tops on camaros and the targas on the vettes, but I have to say that on the 5th gen i strongly think it with look horrible. I have seen some well done photoshops of t-tops on the 5th gen and it look disgusting. The body of the car is too much like the 1st gen to have t-tops and the targa would be just as ugly. the roof top is wider and longer in the concept; so t-tops or targa top when removed could stand on end (front to back) and be up to my waist and im a big guy. I have to say im a little bias; as I want the hardtop, I dont want leaks and any extra weigh, if any.
