Got it on clearance at KB-Toys maybe 3 or 4 years ago, so I'd say your best bet is eBay!

You mean like the SS in this picture?

The SS Coupe is made by Welly and comes in several colors, including red and black. The LT1 convertible is made by Ertl but I had to hand paint it to silver from green. Either one you can get for less than $25 if you search around.

I think I've seen a 3rd gen 1:18 diecast in a catalog I used to get called Exoticar, but I've never seen one at a store (i.e. Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, etc).

I have seen a 3rd gen recently at wal-mart in 1:25 scale (smaller scale) though, it was a 1985 IROC-Z, by Jada Toys under the "Bigtime Muscle" line.

BTW, there are now 1:64 scale "Bigtime Muscle" '85 and '02 Camaros which I have seen at my local Target. I know this is the Camaro forum, but we need more Trans Ams made in diecast!
