I think gm did a good job of keeping as close to the concept as they did. Those of you crying about the sunroof, don't get one. Im a hardtop person myself but some people would like this option (mainly women) and little things like that could lead to more car sales... what the camaro needs to stay around. T-tops would look silly on this car.

I known theres going to be some changes to what we see already and hopefully some of these things will be on the list. This is what i would like to see happen.

*move the reverse lights to the license plate area or to the bottom of the car like on a 1st gen RS.

*somehow reduce the size of the weatherstripping around the quarter glass. On that white it realy jumps out. It would look awesome if the edge of the glass went straight to the body like the back glass of a 04-06 gm truck making the weatherstripping hidden. It looks like the back window is this way.

* if that is what the production hvac is going to look like, may I suggest a redsign for something cleaner.

* the rocker line looks good until it gets to the back side of the door and then kicks up 2".In my opinion it would look better all straight.

*Hide the onstar antenna before theres a world shortage of tissues from those crying about it.

looks great and thanks for your efforts to bringing it back!

from some of the other views the hvac doesnt look nearly as hideous as the one posted above. Like I said, I'll reserve judgement for when its closer to production. in other words, when there isnt black electrical tape and dirt all over it.
What is this thing you call 'bad head'? It's never happened to me.

Cant wait. Moonroof is a good option if it doesnt leak, my fiancee will prolly get hers with one, i will not. Thats what options are for.

The reverse lights have to go, and im sure they will be moved from right in the middle of the bumper. i hope. like the vettes around the license plate is a great idea

im not sure why you guys are complaining about the base model having smaller brakes, im sure bigger brakes will be an option if not standard on z28/ss models.

hide the onstar antennae, talk about an eyesore...

Other than that

Dreaming is what I'm doing. I am aware that the G8 which shares the same platform is going to be around 4klbs in GT form. The G8 is a 4 door, so I think 3800 would be easy to do. I'm hoping they stretch themselves a bit to reach my goal for a hard top with V8, cloth interior, pw, pdl, normal stereo. For heaven's sake, my 2002 SS fully loaded (except leather) was only 3500lbs.

I remember reading a magazine article posted on one of these boards that had the author predicting that the chassis would definitely change in a drastic hint, and that the 20/21" wheels were too much to hope for. It was even something to the effect of having to pray that the production model would even resemble the concept as much as everyone would expect. Seeing the prototype now, it looks like they kept the overall chassis and wheel design same.

Are the rear wheels still larger than the front? Are these details still subject to change at any significant amount?

bad head = when teeth are used

while we are bitching about something, let me say this.

If this thing is like the GTO, and 10" wide wheels cant be used on the back of it, its an absolute DEAL BREAKER. No f'n way I will buy another car I cant fit a decent set of meats on.

t-tops SUCK, with a capital S. they never seal right in one way or another, the whole trunk is taken up when they are off, you look at one wrong and the latch breaks. I'll take a moonroof over ts any day, and a hard top over both.
I'm thankful my '99 Z28 is a hardtop

Took 15 months to find

That's a good point, we need to be able to fit big meats on the back.

The more I see the car the more I like it and I did not like it when I saw it in person. Another color and some rally stripes would make the car stand out more, but its a prototype and white hides a lot. Hopefully they finish off the rest of the details 100% and don't make el cheapo decisions right before production and leave us with a bad taste in our mouths.

How can you get 60% of a preview of a blow job, before the first date? It makes zero sense.
I wish I could get a preview of a blow job before the first date! that would save me so much trouble!

I have no problems with this car what so ever! The small negatives may be options or changed before production, nothing to worry about. I've been looking forward to this car & I now am excited about it. They are doing a great job so far!

I was worried with that pig I saw on the truck with the tape, but after these pics I'd say bravo!!! It has lost just a bit of the gusto with the rear contours, but overall it looks like a daring design. I'm still not agreeing with the taillight panel, but with the right paint colors and wheel packages (I'm worry with gm wheel designs) this car should be a homerun!

This is a retro design right? So how many first-gen Camaros had t-tops? Zero. T-tops are for chics and pretty boys

Whats wrong with t-tops? You couldnt find a car with one so you hate on those that have them? Maybe you just ARE a pretty boy and dont like to mess your hair up from the wind....
