I... LOVE.... IT!!!!!!
Seeing the first white one with those funky headlights, kinda killed it for me...
But this is the car i want to drive... the rearend is weird and i keep saying the reverse lights are off, but, exhaust and wheels are easily swapped... so Im not worried about it.
I just want to know what kind of MPG that thing gets.... J/K!!!!!

Sexy but I think I'll wait a few years and see what happens. I have 2 F-bodies to play with currently. I'll add to the fleet if they mess a little more with the exterior, like removing the reverse lights, and re-designing the tail lights, rear-end.

If the production schedule goes as planned, and they start hitting dealer lots for Q1 '09, then I'll wait till late summer/early fall of '09 to pick one up. Or maybe just hold out until early spring of 2010.
Either way, I'm really hoping I can find the space & money to keep both of my 4th gens, plus add a 5th gen. That would give me 5 cars total. Damn my wife must love me.

A quote from scott.
Posted in this same type of thread with these pics on camaro5.com.
well -- of course we want to see all of you at Indy in September.........
Meanwhile:
Do not assume that the white car or the black/white cars were 'models' -- meaning that perhaps they were a 'hybrid' of a V6 and A V8 car --
(golly -- am I making you crazy yet? )
I can say this:
The V6 will look somewhat different from the V8 -- the problem is that you aren't really sure what you've seen at this point in time..........
But let me ask you this: Are you happy with the Silver coupe or the black convertible? What do you like? What don't you like? (that's a rhetorical question....)
We talked with the "12 disciples of which there are 15" at length about the car -- and they felt that it was important to keep the V6 and V8 appearances apart.........and I think you'll find that this is the case once you see the model lineup.
If you have not yet signed up on www.chevrolet.com/camaro -- may I suggest you do so -- as we'll send you an email when we put the info. out there....
You can anticipate getting a lot of info the last few days of July ..... (engines- -- packages -- options - colors -- )
Again -- THANK YOU for the kind words about the silver car -- we're just as 'geeked' as you are........

I think Z28 works because it's Camaro specific, and there's a history with 1st gen Z28s offering an engine that wasn't attainable in other trim levels or Chevy models.
ZL1 would work too, but it's much less known by the public at this point.

I loved the convertible in the latest photos released. It's just stunning. After going back and scrutinizing, I realized part of the allure was the badgeless grille. and the body color windshield trim. What will differentiate it in the back? No badges, but the exhaust valence is Black and not body color.
