Key words being "f-body site". The 2010 camaro is not an FBody. My arguement is how the hell is a 02 SS run the same .25 as the 2010 SS, NOT TO MENTION....8 YEARS LATER!!! Based on what ive seen so far, I prefer the 4th gens over the new SS. Not everyone on here digs the 2010, so are you saying we should all be banned?

I will say again if the word Corvette on a camaro topic and on a LS1tech site is irrelevant then the word mudstain is irrelavent.
Also as many people have said, the amount of years the ls-1 cars sheer speed buried the mudstain into the ground is just astonishing. Chevy had nothing to prove at that point. Remember in 2003 The mudstain was NOT the faster of the 2 cars because there was no Camaro !!!! Chevy got sick of pwning Ford. And regarding the "legendary" Cobra it still can't hold a candle to the base model vette let alone the Z06, ZR-1, etc ... hows that make you feel because a factory Mudstain has NEVER been faster than a Camaro for the last 15 YEARS !!!!!! haha. After all 2003- now can't be considered faster because G.M. decided to stop kicking Fords *** with the Camaro

I am speculating. This is a forum, a place full of opinions. Pardon me for not jumping on the bandwagon. My points are valid. Also, LMAO GM needed a break in 03??? That complete BS & just a poor excuse since they axed it. The LS1 may have slightly kicked Fords *** on the street (excluding 03-04 Cobra) but ultimately Ford kicked GM *** when the Camaro went under, hence the 8 year wait! Just wait until the price comes out. Its only going to get worse.

There is no way you are comparing the LS1 F-Bodies as slightly faster than the same year GTs. The F-Bodies were at least one full second faster in the 1/4. What's the record for stock 99-04 GT times in 1/4? I guarantee it wasn't nowhere near the 12.8-12.9 The Camaro held. BTW, this is LS1tech.com In case you forgot, The Corvette had the LS1 too so Corvette is very much a part of this site as anything and since we are talking about Camaro, the Corvette is used as a comparison since it is the same blood-line.

Not according to title of this thread. It is DEAD, at least for now. Rather it will come back at sometime in the future is another story. I think it will depend on how well the car sells. But bare in mind, GM may just decide(or has already decided) that the SS will be the top model with no Z28.

I think the LT is a joke. Come on GM.... that is from the Silverado line. This is a car.... not a truck. With that line of thinking... I'm suprised the top model isn't a LTZ.

There was a LT second gen so it should not be that much of a shock to people....it's just trim levels. I doubt they will have LT/LS on the cars it will be the same as 4th gens.
