But those same people that wont dog you or your car in person might just do it in a heartbeat from over a keyboard.

Someones true colors show when they dont have to face you man to man and say something to your face.

Hey nut! You act like both motors have the same displacement. I say GM compensated with their LS1 by using an extra 1.1 liters!!! As for compensation, it can go both ways. You GM guys need to wake up. Ya'll have been in the dark for too long. Also, ultimately Stang > Camaro! Between the 2, Ford has the bragging rights for now at least until the speculated Z28 version.

The LS1 has the same amount of liters the LT1 has, which just so happens to have the same amount of liters the SBC that GM has been using since the 60s. Fancy that!

Bragging rights over what? Taking a retro mustang and putting a 5.4L blown engine and still managing to screw it up by making it run practicly the same as its predecessor is something to brag about. WOW they made it run 12s. welcome to the post 1980s world

My point is that Chevy compensates for nothing with displacement. I believe Ford had more CIs than Chevy did in most of their Stangs in the 60s Muscle Car Era. For example, 350-351; 427-428 & 429

Good thread Nine Ball. Needed to be said, though I get the impression a few still don't get the point....

Id say from 93-02. Speaking against the Camaro, the Stang has triumphed since 2003 & will continue their dominance through 2010. The GT500 will eat a LS3 Camaro, hence Stang > Camaro & Stang bragging rights! I apologize for taking a dump in your cereal bowl! Stop whining & just accept it. There are so many "embellishments" in this section, so dont get upset when I call them out!!! see below

"The Camaro LS will hang with a Stang GT"
"The Camaro SS will hit 12.5's stock"
"Im hoping for a $30,000 LS3"
"Its only 500 pounds heavier than my 02 camaro"
