I think they are wayyy too big. I wish it was like the 4th gen with 16" and 17". I wonder how much weight they could've saved on the 5th gen if the rims were smaller. Damn cars are porkers. Putting drag rims on these cars will be impossible with those huge brakes. Paying for tires should be nice too - probably $400 just to replace the rears with something decent.

Everyone who is saying "wheels bigger than 18 is dumb" aren't seeing the point of having to have the bigger wheels. Its all about wheel well proportion.
As demand goes up the drag wheel and tire companies will make tires accordingly and your 17-18" drag wheels and tires will "look" proportionally just like 15 and 16's on your cars now.
As more and more cars are on the road, the 20" performance tires will come down in price too. Look at 20" truck tires. They used to be $400 a tire, and now you can get them for under $200.
Hell, even the station wagon looking Ford Flex has 19" wheels.

Yet 15" slicks look awesome as hell on 4th gens. 20" rims have no business being on any performance car I'll own. I hope they give an option for either of the 18" on the SS, I think those look much better...

I think some 18"x12" rims with 345/35/18 tires would look hot as the rear wheels... that would be around 27" tall and 13"-14" tire width. With some lowering springs and that would be my street set-up.

Sorry if this has been brought up ready. The poll needed one more option 17" and 18", that is the biggest wheel that should be offered on any production cars. Big wheels are a performance, handling, and braking black hole, lighter rims work so much better.

17x9.5 fronts and 18x11s in the rear is my take. But the large brakes they may have to only been able to get the really large rims.

I've never been a fan of too-big a wheel, which is why I never went larger with mine. But as already stated, the tire itself is taller, and the 20" wheels fill out the wheel well better. I saw a Challenger SRT8 recently with 21" iForged wheels... Looked outstanding. I don't see the new Camaro being too different.
