I'll be going from a 4th Gen to a 6th Gen, and will be opting for the 8-speed auto. Color will likely be black or gray, depending on how they look in person. My car will likely be a garage queen that will see about 2K miles per year at most, but could likely be what gets me into road racing as a hobby. My current car has only racked up about 800 miles in the past 2 years.

My plans long-term will be to supercharge it.

I wonder if they'll offer a factory supercharger with a warranty on it like Ford does.

That will be the ZL1 or Z28. My bet is it will have the LT4 and possibly more carbon fiber parts.

I never at any point had any urge to own a 5th gen but I think I'm gonna pre-order a black 6th gen SS. I like it a LOT. It's what the 2010 should have been in regards to size and weight.

My CLS55 4 door rocket-tank Mercedes is at least 100 lbs lighter than a pig 5th gen Camaro. Not a good look!

Sold my 5th gen about 2 months ago (2013 6 speed h/c) and going into a manual 6th gen hopefully later this year. M6 a must, no auto's for me. Grey, orange, or white color of choice.

Will be my dd as my 2013 was. I cannot afford to buy a car to set it up in a garage to stare at it. It will get modded and beaten, and raced just as my 2013 did, and my Z06 does.

Anyone heard anything about the 1LE? I want the 1LE, but not sure if I'm patient enough to wait till the 2017 model year for it though if they don't release it for 2016... Torn between getting a 5th gen 1LE or building my 4th gen instead.

Nothing yet, but I can see it being the earliest release next year. I'm willing to bet it will get more goodies than the 5th gen 1LE did too, in order to compete with the GT350
