Default What should I do next?

Well my 99 Z28 is slowly becoming the slowest f body in town haha. So I have about 3K to play with but I don't know what direction I want to go in. The car has full exhaust, LS6 manifold, Slp Lid...full list of mods in sig. Anyway I was thinking about doing the under drive pulley, LCA's, FTRA, and throwing a k&n filter in it because I'm still using a paper filter. The motor has 178K on it and still put down 333HP to the wheels with the mods in sig so the motor is still pretty healthy IMO. I was thinking about doing a rebuild, but if it aint broke don't fix it is my philosophy on that one. Anyone think I'm crazy of floating ideas of throwing a 23x/23x size cam in this thing with 178K on the shitty 99 bottom end?

Why such a big cam? How bout a TR 224 with supporting valvetrain,LS6 oil pump, clutch, LCA's and UD pulley. Is this a DD? Oh yea, forgot about a k&n unless you like a oily MAF.

i take that back.. almost 200k..... built rear and transmission.. then when you engine goes... drop a 408 or something equal in it.. you wont get any faster now.. but when the speed comes, no worries..

im getting to my max on my ls1.. as far as mods go.. but i still have my 10 bolt and stock trans.. i cant spray it at the track for this reason... im in low 7's right now in the 1/8.. so it kind of sucks, i wish i had the rea and trans to back it up, cause i worry every trip to the track..

If you're planning to mod down the road I'd take that advice. Go with some 4.10's in a 9" or 12 bolt, go through the tranny, and throw some sticky tires on there and start cutting some low 60's with that 333 rwhp. And if theres anything left suspension items.
