All my old LS1 cars got awesome MPG, hell, my last TA M6 w/ all bolt ons got 30mpg on more than a few trips, and 25-26 mpg every tank at least. I had it tuned like a champ though. Right now i'm in the same boat as you guys though, My TA got 15 mpg all interstate on a trip to KY friday, its an M6 w/ 3.73s, cam only. My race car gets more than that w/ a 4600 stall and 4.86 gear..on race gas. Yall think its this damn ethanol mixed fuel thats screwing it up? seriously, I've changed o2's and retuned/checked the TA way too many times, and I still get 15mpg. I loaded a stock tune in my car and it still got 15mpg. I'm getting pissed

The exact number before I got to "E" and filled up was 224.6 miles. Looking at everyone else's numbers now that seems about right.
I have had an "oil change" light that comes on from startup for about 30 seconds then it goes away, for quite a while. I have no idea what it's from though, as I change the oil every 2,500 miles.

How big is your tank? Miles per gallon are a lot different than miles per tank. I get about 400 miles per tank in my LS1 RX7, thats ~23mpg city with a 3.90.
The easiest way to calculate your true MPG is to fill the tank and reset the trip odometer. Drive, then fill up again. Divide the miles by the number of gallons in the second fill up.

I'm usually get 20-22mpg with city/highway driving. I can get in the mid-high 20's on the interstate. My car's stock though. What modification effects gas mileage the most?
