Thanks that's what I thought, now I don't have to feel guilty letting the check gauges light come on.

holy crap that is bad, thats like 11mpg.

All my old LS1 cars got awesome MPG, hell, my last TA M6 w/ all bolt ons got 30mpg on more than a few trips, and 25-26 mpg every tank at least. I had it tuned like a champ though. Right now i'm in the same boat as you guys though, My TA got 15 mpg all interstate on a trip to KY friday, its an M6 w/ 3.73s, cam only. My race car gets more than that w/ a 4600 stall and 4.86 gear..on race gas. Yall think its this damn ethanol mixed fuel thats screwing it up? seriously, I've changed o2's and retuned/checked the TA way too many times, and I still get 15mpg. I loaded a stock tune in my car and it still got 15mpg. I'm getting pissed

The exact number before I got to "E" and filled up was 224.6 miles. Looking at everyone else's numbers now that seems about right.

I have had an "oil change" light that comes on from startup for about 30 seconds then it goes away, for quite a while. I have no idea what it's from though, as I change the oil every 2,500 miles.

I got 19-21mpg in my stockish 1999 Z28, auto, 3.23 gears. That's with a few WOT runs, mostly driving on the interstate at 75mph. Best was 24mpg on a road trip, worst was 7mpg after a day of track thrahing, lol. I'd fill it up at 300-315 miles.

You got the right idea, pal.

150 miles per tank on a properly maintained car - every day brings as many thrills as a day at Six Flags.

Very familiar with that way of figuring mileage. Lately my car has been hovering around 17 or so, but i've been having some fun with it before it hybernates. My beat as f*ck s-10 4x4 is somehow getting 20 mpg???

I'm usually get 20-22mpg with city/highway driving. I can get in the mid-high 20's on the interstate. My car's stock though. What modification effects gas mileage the most?
