^^^You've got to be kidding me! I can baby the sh*t outta my car and be lucky to get to the 200 mpt mark. When I drive "normal" I get a consistent 150!
Tried everything too. Tuning leaner, fuel filter, O2's, seafoam, etc...nothing.![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
Sounds dumb, but I'm actually hoping the new 418 will get better gas mileage somehow...

this is intresting to me, i have 4:10s in a A4 a couple bolt ons and lets just say i dont grandma my car around and i normally see about 200-215 to a tank of gas.
id say put some clean filters in maybe tune up and see if it gets better.
idk maybe im a freak. but i do quite a bit of stop and go traffic and i sit at 3k rpm on the highway a lot in OKC and i thought my mpg was bad guess not

Yea, i know a guy with a mustang and some guys were complaining about gas mileage and saying yea you get 200 to a tank. I was like more like 3-400. And of course they say...yea bullshit. I'm like, ok whatever, I don't gotta prove anything to your ignorant ***. Cuz I've gotten 27 on a small road trip, mostly highway, some city. Not sure of our tank size, but if it's 15: 15*27= 405 miles. Yea so suck that, f*ckin mustangs...
IDK why some of you get such terrible mileage.

I dont feel so bad after reading some of your mpgs
I average around 13-15mpg of mixed city and highway driving (spirited of course)
mods are in my sig
So I guess I would knock down 225 or so a tank full

Man i dont know sounds like you are getting way too low of miles per tank. I have a 99 trans am with free mods and 4.10's in the rear and its a stock A4. I dont think i have every got under 275 miles on a whole tank i average around 325-350 depending on how im driving but i will tell you i dont take it easy and im 90% city driving. It has 165,000 miles on it original motor and all. I would give yours a tune-up and maybe check into couple other things. The best i did on a complete tank with my stock gears was 415 too the tank. I have a 16.8 gallon tank in mine. Hope this helps. any questions my email is ramair1999@hotmail.com

I get in between 260 to 275 in the city with a few wot runs. I get about 365 on highway trips. I guess I have an efficient engine with most bolt-ons. A tune goes a long way with a bolt-on engine.

I have the A4 trans, 2800 torque converter, free mods, full exhaust, stock 3:23 gears, and dyno tune. It also helps to keep the rpm's under 2000 when not accelerating wot.

As a bolt on car my T/A would get 23.5 mpg or about 345-360 miles a per tank taking 14.5 to 15 gallons of gas to fill up. That was my normal driving. On trips the car would get 30+ mpg. Best ever was 32.8 mpg. Worst was the first tank of gas when the car got 16 mpg.
With H&C, the car gets ~20.5-21.5 mpg, best is 28 mpg highway.
