Do you daily drive it? My suggestion to anyone who is getting broed with their F-body is to get a little 4 cylinder daily driver. I Bought a 00 ford escort for a daily driver to replace the WS6. The WS6 is now just a weekend driver and it is sooo much fun. If you don't daily drive your F-body, after you drive a 4 banger all week and then step into the WS6, it is more fun than you will ever belive! At least in my case it is.

I'd rather die than be seen driving a 4 banger. I'd rather star in a sequel to Broke Back Mountain than be seen driving a 4 banger.

You're gonna' have to do some deep, personal soul searching here. You could spend $1,000,000 on your car to paint it, 'mod it, whatever, but if you're done with that car and the place it has in your life then you're done with it, period.

Spend some time and reflect on why you feel this way, and what may have led you to feel this way. If you decide that you want to keep on with this car, try and understand that you may be just going through a funk. Everything comes in cycles...

^^You are very small minded, but that's your opinion..

I would take a little beater Honda without a problem to save some Gas. I have a GMC Sierra for a DD, so hopefully you would understand why.

I have about 2 grand worth of parts in my basement waiting for the car to come out of storage. But i've only had my camaro about 6 months so if i get bored with it, i hope someone shoots me. For a grand there are a lot of things you could get. What about a cam?

What the 2nd poster said is very true. My 99 still feels "new" to me after almost ten years. Thru the week I drive the 91 RS which is a 305 TBI automatic.

A good 3rd Gen beater car can be fun and help keep the LS1 car special.

Once I get mine together it'll be the weekend cruiser..something for me and the GF to enjoy. I'm tired of working on it and spending a shitload of money on it, and it's never on the road cause something major is broken.

That and with the T56 in it, that is the way I have always wanted it, so I want to enjoy it.

a dodge ram 1500 that will roast the back tires if I feel the need for speed!
and def wouldn't trade for a 4-banger!!

Not bashing anybody thats drives a 4-banger just not my style
(it's prob stupid but I see it as WHAT YOU DRIVE IS WHO YOU ARE)

i too get bored very easy...hell i went thru around 10 f-bodies and 6 bikes now and im only 23...Im starting a ls1 swap in my 93 trans am and i still have an extremely modded Yamaha R1. Both are just weekend toys, and both sit all winter long I dont get to really ride/drive them much anymore since I bought a cheap 95 stratus for my DD. But everytime i get to mess with them im happy as hell

Yeah if it's your DD then definitely go buy some 4-banger DD & turn your car into a weekend cruiser. Then slowly do mods & appearance stuff to the LS1 car as you get the $$. It worked for me.

Yea and you drive a vert that says alot at least it's a V8.........................
IMO there isn't anything wrong with driving a 4 banger as a DD. If I was you I would do what everybody is saying get a diffrent DD

I daily drive a 1997 mystic teal dodge caravan. It gets me where I need to be in bad weather and I can haul things. Also, on weekends when I saddle up into the hawk it is just awesome. The change is such a great feeling to get everytime I step back into it. It definitely keeps it fresh for me!
