Yup the nittos are deff the best DD drag radial you can buy. i would just try to get a set of spare wheels for track use with a set of MT and run some good street tires for DD'ing tho.

Go with the nittos if you dont want to die in the rain or replace a blown rear...

MT ET Streets suck in the rain, I got caught once in the rain with them, and never want to do that again. Pretty much worthless, I was sliding everywhere, and drove very carefully to make it home.

I have about 12K on my nittos and around 15 track passes and they still have around 30% left. When they are gone Ill probably get another set of nittos for the street and find a pair of stock wheels and put some M/T's or Hoosiers on them

I have run two sets of 275 Nitto DR's, they were great on the street and ok at the track. Just becareful when your in the rain; as others said, be smart about it and you'll be fine. I now run 315 Nitto DR's and have no complients either. Like I said, just be careful when conditions are dangerous and you shouldn't have any problems. I live in FL so I only have to worry about rain not snow.

Be careful and you'll be fine!

I use 315 Nitto 555Rs and I'd never think twice about driving on them every day. They work great. I've heard of people getting 15-20k on them if you aren't doing burnouts all the time. I have them and I know 6 guys other than me that use the 275s.

Mine hook easily with no spin if i am on concrete. They are perfect for a bolt on car. I have a SS3600 on top of that. These are probably for you.

I DD mine all year except winter and am running the 315 Nitto 555R. I like them a lot, I got them used and they still lasted me a year dont know exactly how many miles. Never had any problems in rain and get great traction on the street. I am about ready to buy another set this winter.

I drove my car alot last summer on 325/50/15 M/T Drag Radials. I wouldn't drive it when it was shitty out though, nor would I want to. A friend of mine wrecked his car driving normal 40mph, on radials in the rain.

i got 275 nittos and they hook great..with 4.10s im getting ridiculos launches - they also are known to be the best all weather DR. Ive never spun out or lost control with these radials and i dont think you will either as long as you dont drive like a jackass

I bought the mt et street radials. were good for around a month, and starting seeing noticable wear. I rarely get on it, i swear these cops multiply. Anyways, mt et busted on the highway 6 months later. not a good dd. lucky the car was fine

I would recommend Nitto's for a daily driver. With the power you will be putting down with the cam you will probably need some M/T's at the track. Nitto were pretty inconsisent on a buddy's car once he dipped into the 1.6 60 '. But if you don't go to the track much, Nitto's are probably the best bang for the buck and last a long time. Good luck.

i run nitto's on mine everyday and haven't had a problem. i'm just bolt ons now, but i can hook 2nd gear and up. i still spin in 1st, but it's much easier to control wheel spin than with the old street tires.

These are the ones.

I bought a set of these last summer, from discount tire direct on ebay. I got mine for $314 free shipping. They handle great in the rain, last the longest of any DR although not the stickiest. A lot of guys I know run em for a DD tire. If you do a nice burnout, they do hook pretty good.
