I'm not going to tell you what you should do. That's up to you.

If I had the opportunity, I would purchase it. I would then keep it bone stock and drive it to car shows. No DD and rarely any weekend time. Just something to wow the crowd at meets.

Default Get the GN

I would say get the GN, Camaro for DD and GN for weekends and special occasions. I always get respect when I'm in the GN.

Hell, I'm 60 yrs old and love both of my rides.

Wasn't it the fastest production car (in a straight line) that GM ever made until the LT1 Corvette?

It was the fastest that GM made in 1987, but not ever made. Quite sure lots of cars back in the 60s & 70s were faster, example: 70 chevelle SS 454 was one of em.

If someone would be so kind as to break this down that would be awesome, and what gains to expect with each mod...

Oh, and I did try searching too, couldn't find the basic list......

A GN screams drug dealer car. It also has some of the roomiest seats I have ever sat in. Nothing like running 13's with a meth lab in the back!

Meh, to "classic" muscle. I bought a '69 Charger R/T back in '94 and thought I would DD it 'till I died. But you know what, driving something like that or a GN is just a "classic" pain in the ***. Maybe I'm spoiled by my '99 T/A but I don't see how anyone can put up with how primitive "classic" cars are on a regular basis. I still have my Charger but I leave that thing for the shows and the neighborhood squirrels. Buy and have both if you can, but if it came down to one only, then Modern muscle for life...

The price does seem a little lofty for a GN in that condition though. Seems the seller is banking on the low miles itseld to sell at that price. A GNX however for that number in that condition is an absolute steal. Just an idea, but you can probably get (almost) the same car for about 3,000 to 5,000 less if you take the time to really look.

I would take a immaculate GNX over any car pretty much under 100k - not too many cars I can think of I'd want more (I've had a jones for them since I was in middle school).

get the GN I own both and the stock Gn puts out more like 320 stock with 380 tq. 245 hp will not put that car in the 13s at 3500 pounds. A car that clean I would not use as a dd but you will not lose money. If you mod the car you will need to go with a casper electronics ecu patch and a fast m90 stand alone ecu to make any real hp. my car make 622 at the wheel with a front mount intercooler, champion stage 2 heads, kenne bell intake and a 80mm turbo and runs 9 sec times with ac. But it would be a deal cause you can replace the f body anytime u want
