It sounds like he was tryin to buy the guys LS1 cheap by convincin him its a boat anchor, lol.

 

It's no boat anchor, he just has to get the right Tranny setup behind it..

 

How hard was the swap?

 

was not hard at all. i got a 00 ss that was wreckd. took what i needed and sold the rest. i didnt know at the time that my tranny would not work with the ls1 so i sold the 6speed it came with :-( dumb ***!!! haha i still have my lt1 and all the parts to put it back in. i was thinking of just selling the ls1 and using the money i get for it to build up the lt1 and just have a nice dayly driver....

Um how much did you sell the T-56 for?

 

I would have kept the T56..just my opinion..alot less of a hassle, alot more dependable.

 

i knw i wish i kept the damn thing. i sold it for $1000
