not happy at all, might decide to sell

until you get the leak figured out you might not want to drive the car to hard or for very long as all that fuel may have a washdown effect on the cylinder walls causing increased wear.... just get it fixed and go have fun, im sure it wont be more than $30-40 for new intake gaskets and you'll pick up all that power and then some

Its not his O2 sensor because it would throw a code. If he has a vacum leak also a code would be thrown. I bet you money that you havent replaced your fuel filter. Would explain your extreme loss in power and your **** mpg. Change it.

Whhoooooosaaaaahhhhhh!!!! just calm down man. Youll get it figured out, just listen to these guys. I think your biggest problem is the tune and the fact that the motor cant exhale. Your car is essentially constipated...lol. When i had my Z i gained 38hp and 26 tq from a mail in tune....listen to these guys they know what they are talking about.

Dang, 8 MPG? I would say, like others, check for leaks, fuel pressure, fuel filter?? Then definitely an exhaust and a tune to get rid of al that air the car's inhaling.. Good luck to ya bro, but before you decide to sell it, just think.. there are children in Africa starving for an LS1
I agree with LT's and def a tune

Breather for the EGR? Do you mean the AIR? If you are getting 8mpg you have problems. Figure out what the problem is and fix it and you will probably find the power you are missing.

8mpg... sounds like someone has a bad install, recheck plugs, wires and intake, check for leaks.
If you have a leak in the EGR section, you are getting UNMETERED AIR into the system which is messing you up. Until it is running correctly, I wouldn't blame the car, but the person installing the stuff. You answered your own questions for what is wrong with the EGR breather crap. It's sucking in air? Is this a joke thread now or you seriously have no clue on to the basic function of the engine? Suck in any air after the MAF from leak and put 2 and 2 together. Honestly, The install is the problem, the intake is just like the LS6 in flow and performance, so it won't NEED a tune. Loss of torque, air sucking in, all those should have been big indicators as to what you did wrong.

seriously, to the start of the thread, if you want to fix it go get a new set of gaskets and a propane torch and get to work (for those that dont know the torch is used to help find the leak, you just turn the gas on and move it around mating surfaces and hoses, if the idle increases you found your issue)

check your plug wires...might have damaged one
I don't see how you people are saying he needs to do exhaust...the car won't go slower with a better intake just because it has the same exhaust
could be something in the tune I guess, that's not my area of knowledge, but I would check plug wires, make sure each plug is getting spark, knock sensors should also be a priority since they're under the intake, could have damaged the wires causing the car to pull timing I suppose
