Default Would you sell your fbody... if

Basically I bought the car and my friend that brought it home for me wants it really bad. And i know that he could give her a way better home than i can and keep the miles off her. Oh and he offered me a little over 5 grand more than what I payed for her. What do you think should I sell her or what.

Sell it. They are popping up for sale everywhere, so you could replace it in no time (check the classified section if you don't believe me). If I had an offer like that on my car, I'd probably change my current "I'm never selling this car" mindset.

I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find another "rare" one. Maybe not the same color, but a lot of people are trying to get rid of their 4th gens to free up money (and garage space) for something else. Take advantage of the times!

Completely untrue. Nowhere in this country are sport gold metallic WS6 Formulas popping up everywhere for sale.

Now, on the other hand, if you don't really care about the color/trim level, and you'd be just as happy with a regular Formula or T/A in any color, then yes, it would be easy to replace and you should sell it for the extra $5k.

damn you could get a modified one for cheapr than what you payed for that one. Go to the classifieds and buy a plane ticket if you find a cherry one in another state

+1 It really is a pretty car. But like he said if you just looking for some sort of "rare" its not too hard to have something not everyone else does. Either way Hope it works out sir. Just make sure your fbody stays in a loving home.

Even though its a good deal to make 5k more than what you paid, how often do you see them? You'll regret it if you do it.

Do it. You're not attached yet so unless you got some amazing *** deal on a low mile car that's been superbly cared for and EXACTLY the color you wanted, sell it and start hunting. If you paid fair value for the car and you can turn a quick (and that's substantial) profit on it, go for it. It'd almost be stupid not to.

However, if it is E X A C T L Y what you've always wanted (mine was, absolutely fell in love with the car after looking at it), there's nothing wrong in holding on to it and doing what it was mean to do - BE DRIVEN!

Good luck on your decision!

Sell it!! 5 grand is a huge profit!! I don't think color really matters!! I didn't want a red car, but it was a good deal and well worth it!!

Sell it. Its only a car. It would really be silly not to take the $5,000 profit. Take the money and start searching for another gold formula on eBay, autotrader, etc. until you find what you want.

15k is what i have been offered... i mean the car looks like it came out of a showroom... but i gave 9800 for it. Im tempted to keep it cause i know i cant replace it for what i got it for... but i really want a black ws6 formula.
