Default Help me pick a cam and stall

Im using some of my income tax check on the car and cant decide between cams or stalls. Im either going with a TSP Torquer v2 (232/234 .595 .598 112 lsa) or a Speed Inc. SI5 (231/237 .598 .595 112 lsa) and either a Yank SS 4000 or Vig. 3600 Its a DD that sees quite a bit of track time and will be on a 150-175 shot and some BFG DR's. Looking for something that wont be a bitch to drive and could possibly get me a high 10.

I leaning more towards the si5 and yank 4k based on what the owner of speed inc has posted in the past. Especially on the 150 shot

id say atleast a 3600 stall would be a good all around stall. both those cams should be a good compliment with that stall.. look up unstang!! i think hes running a vig 3600 and SI5 cam.

If you spray you may want to go with a smaller stall so you don't blow through it. Also remember the actual stall on a vig is a little more than advertised. I would call Yank and see what Dave recommends for the spray....

i agree with the above on the stall, call Yank and have them get you a nice N2O stall. As for the cams, i used to have TSP's version of the 231/237(M6 w/ 4.33's tho) but it was a blast to drive, put down 440hp with PP 5.3's. Back in 2004 it ran 11.3 on motor.

You say you want something that wont be a bitch to drive and maybe get high 10s??
This is what I would do. You are in the 2sec 60 ft. Dump the rims and Nittos. Get yourself some 16" stockers or some light weight wheels. Put some MT drag radials on them. Put the 3600 stall in ( Not bad with driveability). This is my set up and look what I run with a 1.69 to 1.7 60 ft. Put on the 150 shot and you should be close to high 10s.
Look up a guy by the name Ruckus. With this set up he is almost in the 10s.
