They also had some trouble with the tie rods (I belive) rubbing the inside of the front tires during severe cornering causing blowouts. GM will do nothing about it.

its called strut rub, the issue is the strut top bushing gets compressed during shipping from australia.

easy fix if it is caught but the dealers won't usually do anything about it...its about 60 bucks in aftermarket parts. If you get a good dealer they'll fix them under warranty.

Why so cheap? Because to the average person, american cars suck! And were not the average person. GOOD! Better for us! They would rather buy an import. This is the BEST time to buy an american sports car, cause its the LAST thing the average person is doing right now.
And thanks to the popularity of riced out imports, their the ones most likley to be stolen too. Isn't that great!?

Around here, I could get $21 no problem for my 2006 M6 CSM/Black interior low miles GTO. It does have 15 months left of warranty as well. BUt I won't sell it.

Exactly! For some reason it seems like everyone holds imports up on a pedestal while everything American is trash, I guess it's just a sign of the times. But it's not just the GTOs, I bought my Z28 with 52k miles for less than $7k a few months back. Another thing to consider is that asking price is different from what the seller will actually take for the car. Usually anything with a V8 you can knock at least $2,000 off the asking price and odds are they'll take it.
