I have a nice looking car but I don't want wheels worth so much that I'm afraid that my car will be on cinderblocks when I come out of the grocery store. Now, my current f-body is a V6 so it's not going anywhere as far as major straight-line performance is concerned... There's always someone faster than you (if you care about that sort of thing). Few cars can look nicer than yours if you can pull of a combo that everyone likes. I've found that people respect both fast cars and cars that look nice. Example... A local member has an NBM TA that put down 775rwhp on spray, but it has a hole cut in the hood for the intake. To me, it's alright that it has a hole cut in the hood because it is capable of putting down 775 to the ground. I like it, but it'd be OMG WTF PERFECT when he put a proper hood on it. Throwing a Procharger on it will cause lots of lost money (more than rims and the tires for them). If the wheels/tires you're putting on are lighter than what you have, then you will even notice a small performance increase (assuming you have no problems hooking). If your car looks like **** though and you throw on $3,000+ wheels... Well... It's not gonna be great.
It's up to you - have you decided?

I did stuff for looks before I even put headers on. The stock look of a Z28 at some angles just looked like dog **** with the 4X4 look, stock 16s and stock hood. I also keep the car spotless now because it looks so damn good when its clean (imo). If it were me I'd get the ws6 hood and and the ccw wheels first, and then make it fast because its not exactly slow right now in comparison to other cars.

1). I never see my car while I'm driving it.
2). It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car. You better learn that![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
3). I'm not entering my car in a beauty contest anytime soon but I might find myself in a speed contest![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
4). I'd rather have the power and never need it then need the power and not have it.
5). Timeslips don't come with pictures.
Bottom line as far as I'm concerned is speed > looks
