most people suggest NGK TR55's... I've got those right now...

to be honest though, I couldn't tell any difference between them and the old bosche's I used... had some silverstone plugs in previously, and again couldn't tell any difference...

I've also got the $350 Nology hotwires in my car... again, no difference lol

im using Delco Platinums from autozone. No big deal, but i plan to switch to NGKs when i put my headers in (if my x pipe ever comes). I heard NGKs were better for imports, Delcos are better for domestics, and of course, Bosches for euro cars... thats just what i heard tho

Delco platinums here i stick with as much GM stuff as possible because AcDelco stuff is some of, it not the best out there for the most part. they have great quality parts so i stay with 'em. I don't buy the fancy plug's unless i'm running juice or need a colder range plug. For a heads/cam car stockers will be fine My truck has stock plugs and wires and is at 104k miles and they are the originals my step mom just put new plugs in her GTP and they originals had 140k on them. Only reason they got changed was because my dad decided to check the plugs and ripped the old boot so he just changed it all. Plugs looked almost new still

What he said. ^

99BlancoSS (a sponser here) is selling both types of plugs and MSD wires for 60 something shipped for the set. I just bought a set of truck wires and plugs for the Fbody and the truck and everything looks good and came in fast.

Actually, once you bump up the power a fair amount, it's also time to go to a colder plug. More power, more heat, needs a colder heat range plug. General rule of thumb is go 1 step colder after adding ~100 bhp.

A higher compression heads/cam setup should run a TR6 plug IMO. If staying all motor, I would gap them to .038-.042ish for starters. I run the TR6s at .038, but I do spray a small shot every blue moon.

Don't get confused people, the correct colder plug will NOT make your car run worse, or reduce horsepower. It will however reduce the temperature in the combustion chamber.
