Are you going to tune it yourself too? Cause if not theres some more cash cutting into your budget. I say keep the oil pump and lifters on your list because like someone said, you're already in there and its fairly cheap insurance.

ya i gotta save around $600 for a tune while im working on the car....

Another way to save some cash, off of TSP's site

Basic Heads & Camshaft Bolt & Gasket Kit
Includes GM head gaskets, GM head bolts, GM water pump gaskets, GM timing cover seal, GM front seal, GM harmonic balancer.

I would go NA because the NO2 will only be cheaper for the first few pulls after that you are going to pay more.

and a setup NA package will have power all the time and in my opinion be more reliable in the long run.

I would save some cash by geting a stock ls6 pump and I would buy new lifeters.

and for all of my big projects add 8 to 10% cost for those runs to the parts store and oil rags beer bringing your friends out for lunch after they help you
I just bought all of my parts for my head swap and it cost me about 3500

You could save 100 dollars by getting an ls2 timing chain.

I think BMR and UMI SFC's are cheaper than 170 but don't quote me on it.
