Ok, So my xmas present from my wife was a sett of Chrome TTMs from tomzwheels. Except after I ordered them I call to check on the shipping and they said they didn't have anymore and were not getting more due to tom's condition(Get Well Tom). So they refunded me and now I have $700.00 for my next mod. The car is a 2001 ws6 m6 with 53k. Only mods are magnaflow catback and a slp lid. I am thinking LPP headers and Y. What would the racer do with $700 on a car like this?

I think the headers is what I am most leaning towards. Where do you get pacesetters and Y coated for $410. I am all over that. I really just want it to be a quick daly toy. I went through the whole racing thing with my 97 WS6. Did heads cam full bolt ons and a tune but it wasn't like I could just get in and drive it to another state. I want to be quick and still very daly friendly.

Not saying that a heavy engine mod car can't still be reliable at all. My thing was when you make other things stronger the car will find the weakest part and break it(I was on a budget big time on my 97). I am not looking for a race car right now, My brother and I have a 67 nova all set up for drag. I just want a nice respectable car that is somewhere in mid to high 12's. Anybody have opinions on the LPPs. They look sharpe and stainless is always a plus.

pacesetters with ORY and a cutout..
short throw..
set of 410s, or add a LITTLE bit more cash and get a used nitrous kit on the cheap..
with 410s you will be sitting at mid to high 12s depending on how you drive..
with the nitrous you will be sitting at high 11s low 12s.. of course depends on the shot you put on it..
