What Company is the warranty with? I know when I worked for a Toyota dealer we sold First Extended and they required the customer to go back to the selling dealer if it was within like 40 miles of them.

Piping in late, but headers will void the warranty. Yes it has nothing to do with the lock cylinder. They may not come and tell you that it is void at the dealership, but you may get a notice in the mail like I did. Dear blah blah. We (GM) regret to inform you that you have lost your drivetrain warranty due to the modification you have done to your vehicle.
Plus it may depend of if your tuner deleted the rear 02's to. If you are talking about the headers in your avatar. That means that someone has gone into the computer and changed stuff araound. Vats maybe the cause I dunno. If that is the case the may just say all to gether. Would you like to pay cash or credit.
Had headers and no cats. Came in for a oil change. Sucked *** but serious modding started earlier tho.
It may also depend on what type of warranty you have. Factory, aftermarket. If it is the factory warranty you are going to have a hard time. After market doubt they will care so much.

Don't dealers get reimbursed from GM/Chrysler/Ford whoever when they fix stuff under the factory warrenty.
That's money in the bank for them, espcically in a bad economy.
Why would any of them want to void a warrenty and miss out on business/money?
Seems like they are shoting themselves in the foot.
Hell if I was a dealer I'd be like hmm smaller pulley and stock injectors. Sure we can replace your engine under warrenty. *send invoice to Ford*
And when it's out of warrenty we'll replace it again for even more money at the customers expense. Mod away!

It will void the whole extended warranty if it has headers it all depends on if they inspect the car. It might be better to just cancel it since if anything big happens to the car they will just deny the claim once they inspect it. You can get some money back if you cancel. I am one of those evil little people that sit at the desk and deny the claims sorry to say I am an extended warranty claims adjuster.
