Anyone notice the new Motor Trend Cover? WTF? It has the blue Shelby GT 500 on it with the smart *** remarck about laying the smackdown on the new camaro. Well damn, it almost twenty grand more than the new camaro and is the top of the line mustang so of course it'll beat it. I hope chevy brings out the Z-28 with an LS9 or the ZR1 and just lays a beat down on the Shelby. For one I can't stand motor trend, they are so biased it's pathetic and two the Shelby is a supercharged specialty car. Not even built on the same production line.

I am sick of all the magazines like R&T, C&D, and MT. Somehow they end up running anything domestic into the ground, especially GM...and when they compare GM to Ford or Dodge, once again, it's GM that's losing face.
Another stupid trend, car and truck of the year....WTF!!!!!!
The F150 on Motortrend's website almost loses it's front bumper in the first few seconds of video - great choice MT!!!
Nissan GTR car of the year!! Again, WTF!! Probably the most expensive and least reliable transmission to be built EVER with no warranty backup! If GM even let that happen once with a ZR1, all these magazines would destroy their reputation even farther.
Lastly, how about taking a 2002 Dick Harrel and line it up against any Shelby out there? Yeah, about that!!!
Okay I am done ranting, obviously I won't pay money for these retards to test drive cars!

Road & Track isn't that bad. I think it was in the july of 08 issue while they were reporting on the new camaro they talked about how the v6 model makes more power than the new mustangs

If you get down looking at the Motor Trend, just remember, when the new Camaro comes out in 2010, its V6 will be pushing just as many hp as Ford's V8. It will be just like the good old days in the 90's when you could buy a v6 5 speed and embarass the GT with its 245 hp 4.6 L wheezer.
They were a joke then, they'll be a joke in about 4 months and Motor Trend will be nose in the Camaro tailpipes kissing that ***.
Especially if they do something really off the wall like build something to whip the Shelby like a little schoolgirl...Oh yea, didn't the Shelby come out to "beat the Z06?" Anyone else remember Ford touting that as the idea? They wanted something to fight the Z06 that was out there?
