When I began my search for a WS6 I wanted an M6.. I found a beautiful A4 WS6 with only 9024 miles, the price was right.. Would still love an M6, someday, but I am happy with my A4! No regrets..

I'll race your auto

I got an auto because I thought I would be driving in the city. I came to my senses and refuse to take my car into the city, so now I kind of wish I got an M6, but thats how the cookie crumbles.

I got an A4 for my Camaro, I'll save the M6 for a C6 once I get this car paid off.

Watch Barrett Jackson....Manuals always get more $$$$$, because the driver is much more in Sync with the vehicle..... this is for ****** MUSCLECARS ONLY ****** though. [I ordered mine]

+1 Neither is better, it's all what you're after. I also wanted an M6. Guess what? Wound up with my A4. The M6 is obviously less common. The problem I encountered was the few M6 cars I looked at had either been through the ringer or were grossly overpriced. ...Some people are delusional. I got a great deal on an A4 that was owned by a woman in her 50's. I have serious doubt it was beat on, came with documentation since purchase, and has never been modded previous to me owning it. I felt a lot better saving some cash and buying a tight car than continuing my search...

How much is a tranny conversion anyway? From A4 to M6? The search feature is **** these days (I already posted up about it).

All of my races are from rolls and I've won all but one and that stick would sure come in handy.

My A4 is a lot of fun for me. I will however get a M6 for my next car (5th gen Camaro) so I can have both sides of the spectrum.

I too was looking for an M6, but at the time A4's were much cheaper in my area and much more common. Found my Z for a great price and couldnt pass it up. I enjoy the car though and look forward to getting a stall to really wake up the car. My next car though will be an M6(5th Gen Camaro), just like Detoxx said then the Z will probably be track only!

I'm gonna keep mine for the track only when I get the 5th gen but that will be atleast another year.

Maybe the trans will, but don't forget about the weak stock clutch, and how much LESS power the 10-bolt will hold behind an M6.

Honestly, I'd pay more for the A4. M6s are worthless to me.

Now that these cars are so cheap, you've got a lot of younger guys affording them that still have the high school mentality that M6s are SOOOO much better/more fun. This is crap. It's all about driver preferance. And if the A4s were so bad, then nobody would have ever bought them new and more M6s would have been built....which was not the case.

BTW, no more M6 vs A4 threads!
